The design journey begins with a personalized consultation with Shanelle! During your 1.5-hour session, you'll have the chance to chat about your dream garden — your goals, style preferences, lifestyle, and, of course, your budget for installation. I offer three types of gardens: Kitchen, Cut Flower and Landscape. I will walk your property and layout options, locations and teach you the a recommended gardening system for your needs.

It’s the perfect way to ensure Shanelle truly understands what you're envisioning before diving into the design process.

If you’re unsure whether you need a full design or just some expert advice, no problem! Our consultations are completely commitment-free and offer a wonderful opportunity to explore creative ideas, discuss plant options, and decide on the best direction for your space.

Consultations are $250 + tax, with an additional travel fee depending on your location (+20 miles from greater-Seattle area).

Each consult will include all notes, recommendations, sketches, lists of plants, ideas and everything I can possibly jam into the 1.5 hour session. I’m very generous with my time and want to maximize what you take away from these sessions. You should be saving at minimum $3k-$5k from your nursery/landscape budget from the recommendations. I also provide a list of local partners for installation, deck, fence, landscape and hardscape installers. These are ‘tried and true’ partners. Not the cheapest but trusted stewards and partners- that will get the job done and save you money and time in the long run.

Concept + Design

After your initial consultation, Shanelle will create a broad concept for your design. This includes sketches and mood boards of the kitchen, cut flower and/or landscape design to ensure we’re aligned on the style you want to bring to life. It’s the perfect way to set the direction for the project before we dive into the finer details.

Design Plan

From there, Shanelle will take the concept and develop it into a custom design using AutoCAD software. She may also create 3D visual renders to give you a clear picture of what your finished garden will look like. The design plan will include product, outdoor furniture, raised garden beds, tools and maintenance recommendations.

Installation Plan

Once the design is finalized, she will prepare a master document that includes the precise layout for landscaping, plant placement, and any other essential details. This will provide you with all the information needed to bring your dream garden to life. Whether you hire an installer or DIY. We also offer concierge delivery of the products and plants to your home.

Design Packages with Plants and Product minimum- Starting from $1,500

My hourly rate for gardening with you and guiding you through the process is $150 per hour, min 3 hours. I’m so fun! and I will bring you 5 free plants, dirt, compost and give you a tutorial of all the tools and help you get setup for success.

Plant and Product Selection

Planting design is all about selecting and arranging plants to create a beautiful, cohesive garden composition. For clients who already have a completed landscape or layout they’re happy with, Shanelle offers stand-alone planting and product recommendation services to bring that extra spark to your garden. Whether it be for a raised bed kitchen, cut flower or landscape garden. She also offers outdoor furniture and entertainment design and products.

With her extensive horticultural knowledge and years of experience, Shanelle’s plant selections are carefully curated to create stunning, thriving gardens. A thoughtfully chosen plant palette is key to a successful design, and it’s an area that often gets overlooked in gardens focused primarily on hard landscaping.

Shanelle specializes in naturalistic planting design, inspired by the work of Piet Oudolf. This style draws from the beauty of how plants grow and arrange themselves in nature. Her deep expertise in perennial plants ensures that your garden will thrive in the PNW climate while maintaining a stunning aesthetic. This package can include concierge delivery.

Planting and Product Packages – Starting from $2500

While we don’t offer hard landscaping installation services directly, we’re happy to recommend trusted landscaping contractors we’ve worked with to help bring your design to life.

You’re welcome to work with a landscaper of your choice, or if you prefer, Shanelle can oversee the entire process to ensure everything runs smoothly and aligns with the design plan.

Once the garden framework is set, Shanelle will personally handle all plant placements, raised bed and product ordering with your landscaping vendor team assisting to complete the planting. This ensures that Shanelle’s expertise in plant knowledge, layout, and planting schemes is carried out precisely as envisioned in the design.

The cost of this package is a management percentage on the entire project and product/plant order minimum.

Min total project cost is $10,000 and I provide coordination at 15% of total product cost.

We provide seasonal review and garden stylist sessions. We can meet onsite with your landscaping team prior to maintaining your garden. Sessions will include guidance, diagrams and visual direction for early spring cut back, re-styling, plant division and tending throughout the season.

Cost $250 for 1 hrs. Includes detailed care instructions and virtual final review.

I host a series of workshops, designed to get the crew of colleagues, friends, family and loved one’s together. I’m a life of the party hostess. You will have the best experience ever!

Each workshop can be hosted at your location of choice or our botanical garden and kitchen. Music, laughter and fun is guaranteed.

• Herb garden workshop $150 per ticket (min 10 guests): Includes in-person teaching session, metal tub, herbs, plant labels and care guide

• Bouquet + Foraging garden workshop $100 per ticket (min 10 guests): Includes bouquet flowers, vases and how to guide to take home. We forage my own garden and I teach you how to make your own bouquet that will last for min. two weeks or dry.

• Kitchen Garden workshop: $90 per ticket. includes customizable salad picked fresh from the garden, homemade dressing and wood bowl.
  

We deliver and install raised bed kitchen gardens. Includes boxes, arbors, custom soil mixture and all plants. Cedar raised boxes have ‘sitting’ ledges, to make gardening comfortable and enjoyable, ala sitting with a glass of wine :)
